Bio: I studied and got my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in the Philippines in 1984, got a job at the Lung Center of the Philippines from 1985 to 1990, while assigned in the Medical-Surgical, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Operating Room, Recovery Room & Respiratory Therapy Section departments. I came to America in June of 1992 and worked in a nursing home until October of 1999, while assigned in a skilled facility and sub-acute unit. I then got a job as a pediatric homecare nurse in January of 2000 until June of 2014, while assigned in the care of special needs children at home and school settings, with tracheostomy, gastrostomy, gastro-jejunostomy, IV fluids, oxygen therapy, ventilators, c-pap, bi-pap, etc. I started working as a school nurse at iHope in July of 2014 until the present, serving the needs of the staff and most especially the special needs children with complex medical conditions from traumatic brain injury.
